The Collaborative Process is for those couples who want a different way to divorce.

Many couples do not want a court battle to end their marriage. If they have children, they also recognize they will always be parents to those children and need to co-parent effectively. For some couples, they simply want to find a way to move on with their lives without engaging in an expensive, conflict-laden court-battle.
Collaborative Divorce is designed for those couples who do not want to turn their most important decisions about finances and children over to attorneys or judges. Instead, they want to work with trained professionals who will support them through the divorce process while they negotiate a workable settlement.
In a Collaborative Divorce, the attorneys work together with the couple to negotiate in good faith an agreement regarding property, parenting time, child support and other concerns without going to court. Other supportive professionals may be consulted to assist with various aspects of the negotiation. But all professionals commit to maintaining respect and finding a settlement that is fair to the whole family.
The Collaborative Process focuses on the future. When children are involved, Collaborative Divorce puts children first.
